SPOT kicks off at IPU Berlin
IPU Berlin proudly welcomes the first cohort of the new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Social Psychology of Transformation (SPOT). This unique program unites students from four continents and universities across Europe to explore the psychology of social change.
An important milestone was reached this week at IPU Berlin: The very first cohort of students in the new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Social Psychology of Transformation (SPOT) has been welcomed. The program officially launched with Welcome Days on 29–30 September 2025, bringing together students, faculty, and international partners for introductions, campus tours, and community-building activities.
SPOT is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme, funded by the European Union, that unites seven leading European universities. Students will study across several countries—including Germany, Portugal, Italy, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, and Estonia—benefiting from a unique co-teaching approach and earning a joint European degree.
The program trains a new generation of psychologists to understand and master processes of social change. Its focus areas include:
- Transformative leadership
- Conflict and cooperation
- Environmental psychology
